Mt. Kosciuszko Expedition itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Thredbo
• Welcome on arrival at Thredbo Village, the base for the Mt. Kosciuszko climb
• Enjoy scenic views of the Australian countryside and Snowy Mountains region en route
• Check-in at Thredbo Alpine Hotel
• Expedition briefing by your experienced mountain leader
• Overnight stay in Thredbo
Day 2: Summit Day - Mt. Kosciuszko summit
• Early morning breakfast
• Chairlift ride to Eagles Nest, the highest chairlift point in Australia
• Begin trek towards the Mt. Kosciuszko summit
• Trek distance: approx. 13–14 km round trip
• Duration: 5–7 hours
• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
• Packed lunch and snacks provided during the trek
• Reach the summit and enjoy panoramic 360° views of the Snowy Mountains
• Summit photos and Certificate of Achievement presentation
• Descend back to Thredbo
• Celebration dinner at The Denman Hotel
• Overnight stay at Thredbo Alpine Hotel
Day 3: Thredbo - Departure
• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to the nearest bus stand or taxi stand for onward journey
